Lots of LOs

In the last 2 to 3 weeks, I have managed to rack up almost 8 LOs! Haha... On a roll, on a roll! It's funny how having a baby can change the way one scraps. I used to scrap vintagey LOs, never doing sketches, never doing simple quick LOs. Now, the brights come into play, sketches get the LOs coming faster and a completed LO is better than the elaborate LO that takes hours on end to do!

Have taken the photos of the various LOs but haven't loaded them onto the computer as my laptop charger has officially DIED!! Sigh... So when I get that fixed, I'll get them up on the blog ASAP!

Meanwhile, a LO I did for CMK GDT April call.









The challenge was to:
1. Create one 8.5x11 landscape layout.
2. Use a minimum of two photos.
3. Create a custom background for your page (whether you paint cardstock, use circle punches and set them on your background, doodle, sew, etc.)

So I used transparency overlady and wove it with CS and drew circles and cu out those parts to reveal the circles. Then I outlined with stickles. Matted the photos and floated the smaller ones on foam dots. The corners of the LO were embellished with Rain Dots by Cloud 9. The aim was to give a feel of bubbles and water droplets like it is in the bathroom when my kid plays in his bath! Lettering from AC Thickers! TFL!

Bad bad bad blogger

So 3 months have past since my last entry. The dust is finally settling and I can hit the drawing board again! Finally unpacked most of the boxes - especially the scrapping supplies ones, have cut my pumping down to 3 times a day (with only 2 months more or so to go in sight!), the little one is growing up and things have fallen into some sort of routine.

Yeah. So I promised photos of the little Christmas pressies I made. Sorry. In my excitement, I gave them out and forgot to take photos! But I HAVE restarted scrapping! Woohoo! Completed 1 12x12 LO. Waiting for good lighting to take a photo! Hopefully, tomorrow, when I am post call.
